This is Highland 8, it is the North Evans Fire District EMS/Rehab Unit. It is a 1995 Ford/ Lifeline E-350 Type 3 ALS Ambulance. This unit rolls on all EMS requests as well as Car Accidents and Fires. It is also part of our Mutual Aid Alarm as a "Rehab" Unit.

   
This is the patient area. It houses not only the stretcher but all the required equipment needed for Advanced Life Support. Some of the equipment we have on board is the Defib Unit,Pulse Ox,Portable Blood Pressure Device. We have onboard communication links to multiple dispatch centers as well as hospitals throughout the region. This rig has the ability to transport up to 2 patients at a time with a maximum of 3 EMT's in the rear with a driver and radio operator in the front.
   
This is the drivers side, it carries our Backboards,Stair chair and KED's. Some Jackets, Jumpsuits, Flares, and vehicle supplies. The last compartment has all the car accident equipment as well as the main Oxygen bottle for the rig.
   
This side carries our "Peds" Bag, "Jump" Bag, Scoop Stretcher,and long splints. Also we have our MAST pants and Rehab supplies on this side. The patient area is also accessible through the side door.
