We the men and women of Highland Hose welcome you to our house. We are part of the North Evans Fire District, which has two fire companies, Highland and North Evans. We have provided ISO 4 rated protection for the 6000 people in our 25 square mile coverage area since 1937. Our members are "Keeping the Spirit Alive" with 2 engines, an ambulance, and a heavy rescue. They help us provide comprehensive fire protection,fire prevention,rescue,and EMS services to our community.

The Highland Hose Vol. Fire Company saddly regrets to announce the passing of brother firefighter Dave Catalano. Dave joined Highland Hose in 1973 to serve his community proudly for 34 years. In his 34 years Dave served as District Chief from 1983-1989 also served as a North Evans Fire Commissioner for 10 years. Dave also recieved the Presidents award in 1982, EMS of the year in 1986. One of Dave's biggest accomplishments was in 1987 when he recieved Firefighter of the year for the Highland Hose Vol. Fire Company. For the last several years he has served Highland as our Company Chaplin. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
